SHPE | UPRM created the Women in Leadership Summit to build a community where people of all genders can sponsor, inspire and mentor women to go far and achieve our goals together.

The Challenge

Develop a sweep of marketing materials that ignite interests and sparks conversation around empowering women on campus.

 

My Approach

While working with a student driven organization, this was an organic process. We researched and incorporated the team’s insights from previous events; then collaborated on moodboards, sketches, and finally the banner. This core deliverable served as the starting point for multiple touch points.

We then developed the social content strategy for the weeks leading up to the event and started executing. The final stretch was a campaign featuring local leaders from their campus and highlighting their thoughts on women empowerment.

Reflections

I will forever be proud of the work we did together for this event. Not because of the deliverables — although they were very fun to make — but because we worked towards a higher cause I firmly support.
